Tsukuba, Japan. |

Created the Rikka Shimputai style of Ikenobo ikebana as a new rikka style to

Arranged the first ikebana to be displayed within the walls of the Kremlin in Moscow,
and demonstrated Ikenobo ikebana in Moscow. |

Exhibition of rikka and ikebana history at the Tokyo Nihonbashi Takashimaya
Department Store, celebrating his 60th Anniversary as Headmaster. Exhibit visited by Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. |
