 Professor Manabu Noda from Ikenobo Central Training Institute performed a demonstration at following monthly chapter meetings of Ikebana International:
I.I. Osaka - Jan.20 at Rihga Royal Hotel
I.I. Kobe - Feb.10 at the Kobe Club
I.I. Tokyo - Feb.24 at the Tokyo American Club
The theme for the demonstration was “The 550th Anniversary of Ikenobo Ikebana : Keep on Going for the Friendship with Flowers & through Flowers!”
Prof. Noda created 5 arrangements explaining Ikenobo Ikebana’s history; tatehana, free style hung on a tapestry, miniature free style using a photo stand, rikka shimputai and free style ikebana made in cooperation with his 3 assistants and 2 special guests from attendees of the demonstration.
Audience of each demonstration greatly enjoyed Prof. Noda’s beautiful arrangements and his clear explanation in English. |
