Ikenobo Autumn Tanabata Exhibition, the oldest and biggest flower exhibition in Japan, was held from 13th Nov. to 16th Nov. 2020 in Kyoto, Japan.
The exhibition has a history of more than 400 years. There is a record that the exhibition was held during the time of Spanish flu pandemic in the early 20th century.
The origin of ikebana is the flower offering to the Buddhist image. With the prayer for health and happiness for all people in the globe, Ikebana works have bloomed in the exhibition.
