Ikenobo Spring Exhibition 2021 was held at the Ikenobo Headquarters building and Rokkakudo Temple in Kyoto from March 19 to 22, 2021. The exhibition was canceled last year due to covid-19 pandemic.

Normally Ikenobo Spring Exhibition was held in April, but this year we held the exhibition in March when weeping cherry trees in Rokkakudo Temple bloom beautiful. Thus, visitors enjoyed displayed ikebana works together with beautifully blooming cherry trees.

 

The theme for this year was TSUNAGU-connect-. Many ikebana works were displayed in the Rokkakudo Temple including an ikebana work by the Headmaster designate Senko Ikenobo and instructors of Ikenobo Central Institute of Ikebana. In the Dojo (training hall) ikebana works arranged by the 45th Headmaster Sen’ei Ikenobo, the Headmaster designate, Professor extraordinary, graduates of Special Course was exhibited during the exhibition.

Many works arranged by professors, assistant professors, and instructors, as well as graduates of 44th term of each course of Ikenobo Central Institute of Ikebana was displayed at the Ikenobo Headquarters building.
