Established in 1956 to deepen international ties through ikebana, Ikebana International will be holding its next World Conference on April 26th (Sat.) and April 27th (Sun.) 2025. Held once every five years, this year’s conference will be held in Kyoto’s International Conference Center (Kokusai Kaikan).
This will be Ikebana International’s 13th World conference and will feature demonstrations from the headmasters of 7 schools of ikebana, starting with Ikenobo. The Headmaster Designate Ikenobo Senko and Youth Group Leader Ikenobo Senshu will hold a demonstration of the quintessence of Ikenobo ikebana for convention goers.
Headmaster Ikenobo Sen’ei will also be presenting a piece for display in the accompanying exhibition along with the other schools’ headmasters.
